1. Delivery and Condition of the Vehicle

The vehicle is delivered by Anemos-Skyros Rentals to the lessee in excellent mechanical condition. The lessee acknowledges that they have inspected the car and agree with any noted observations. The car must be returned with all tools, parts, and equipment provided at the specific time and location agreed upon in the contract.

2. Driver Requirements

All drivers must hold a valid International Driving License or a driving license issued by an E.U. member state. Driving the vehicle by any person not explicitly listed on the rental agreement is strictly forbidden.

3. Maintenance and Damages

Periodic maintenance is provided by the Lessor. While tires are replaced at regular intervals due to natural wear, any damage caused by misuse (e.g., impact with sidewalks, potholes, or off-road driving) is the sole financial responsibility of the Lessee.

4. Fuel Policy

The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when it was rented. If the fuel level is lower upon return, the Lessee will be charged for the missing fuel based on the current local fuel prices.

5. Traffic Violations and Fines

Fines resulting from violations of the Greek Traffic Code (K.O.K.) or any other legal consequences are the exclusive responsibility of the Lessee. In the event that the Lessee does not pay the fine directly, they will be charged the fine amount plus a fixed fee for “Administrative Expenses (File Expenses)”.

6. Insurance Exclusions

Insurance covers third-party bodily injury and property damage, but specifically excludes the driver and the passengers. No coverage applies if:

  • The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • The car is used for illegal purposes or in violation of the contract.

  • Personal belongings inside the vehicle are stolen or damaged.

7. Special Restrictions

  • Ferry Transport: Written approval from the Lessor is mandatory for transporting the vehicle by ferry.

  • Repairs: The Lessee is prohibited from performing any repairs on the vehicle without prior permission from the Lessor.

8. Termination of Agreement

Anemos Rent a Car reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately and without penalty if it is determined that the Lessee is abusing the vehicle or violating any terms of this agreement.
